CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
Throughout the years we have found that our customers have a lot of questions and worries on how the building of there pool will effect there lives. Below we have outlined a complete step-by-step process of what to expect.
- ENGINEERED DRAWINGS
Our engineer will draw up a complete set of plans that will meet the State of Florida building codes with all the specifications for your approval. Once you have approved the drawings the next step will be to submit the plans to your city or county municipality (this could take two to ten weeks depending on your municipality).
- LAYOUT
Pool will be painted on the ground for your approval according to the engineered drawings.
- EXCAVATION
Pool will be excavated with a large or small machine depending on the access to your property. If required the excess fill will be removed from the site
- FORMWORK and STEEL
Steel Tex will be set on the forms to create the walls. Steel rebar will be set along the walls and floor per code. This process will reinforce the walls and floor to give your pool strength and longevity. Pool shall be called in for 1st inspection.
- CONCRETE
The gunite/shotcrete will be placed pneumatically to form the shell, which will bond tightly to the steel reinforcing rods.
- BACKFILLING
Pool shell will be backfilled and compacted. (Compaction tests will be completed if required.)
- POOL PLUMBING
Our plumber will install all pool/spa pipes, light conduits and lights per code. 2nd inspection shall be scheduled.
- POOL COPING and TILE INSTALLATION

- POOL DECK
Installation of concrete, paver, or marble paver deck depending on customer choice. 3rd inspection shall be scheduled.
- EQUIPMENT and ELECTRIC HOOK-UP
Pool equipment will be installed. A license electrician shall tie electric from the house main panel to the pool equipment panel. All work shall be called in for inspection.
Note: Some municipalities may require load calculations. This is in addition to normal permit fees.
- FENCE or SCREEN AND CHILD FENCE or ALARMS
Installation of fence or screen, which shall meet the perimeter barrier code. Installation of child fence or child alarms, which shall meet interior barrier code to protect access from the house to the pool area. Both barriers shall be called in for inspection.
- INTERIOR FINISH
Pool shall be plastered with one of many top quality waterproof finishes (your choice) that seals the concrete and provides a beautiful finish. Upon the plaster crew finishing, the crew will hook-up a water house from your house that will run through a filtration tank that will start filling the pool.
- START-UP and ORIENTATION
Once the pool is filled with water we will maintain the chemical levels for a period of one (1) week until the water is balanced and stabilized. Upon the pool being turned over to the homeowner you will receive a complete orientation and all warranties.
